Leica 28-70mm f3.5-4.5 Vario-Elmar-R (Type II) (ROM) (11364) - LensManual focus wide to telephoto zoom lens made for R mount 35mm SLR cameras introduced by Leica in 1997. This is the second version of the lens. It featured a new, slightly smaller design, had ROM contacts, and removed the built in lens hood. ROM Cam lenses have a stepped cam, like on the 3rd Cam, plus electronic contacts. They are compatible with all R series cameras. The electronic contacts are only supported on the R8 R9. They will not fit Leicaflex
